It all began in a little town called Östmark. We were two good friends, Stefan and Robert that went in 8th grade. At first we both played the guitar, but then Robert tried out a stand up bass, and he fell in love instantly. We played for a while, but we missed a drummer. Finally we found one and we played a little here and a little there in corridors and corners. When we started High School Stefan got a new idea, he and a couple of friends started taking music lessons. Stefan, Robert, Benny and Nicklas started playing seriosly. Since autumn 1998 we have been playing all over middle-Sweden, under the name  "The Wild Stompin Blue Cats". But now when we have made two own records and participated in two collection records, we decided to change name, and we chose "The Radicanes". In the end of 2003 the band shattered and walked separate ways, we had different ideas and couldn't go on. In march 2004 the remaining members Stefan and Benny was reinforced by a new guitarist. His name was Magnus, and the three of us now forms the competent rock trio: "The Radicanes".
